"Erotic funny look at second chances!"

Once again, we're back with the four women of the "Ex- Files": Maddie, still deliriously happy with Cole; Maxie, just about ready to burst with child; and the single women of the bunch, Katy and Victoria. The four are currently at Maddie's party. Katy is really feeling sorry for herself -- she recently discovered her ex-husband, Garrett, is getting married again. Since he's the only man Katy has ever, or will ever, love, the news sent her smack dab into the middle of a depression, and all her psycho- babble isn't helping. While's she's moping in Katy's bathroom, this pink-haired little sprite/fairy godmother appears to her and tells Katy she's going back to 1983. Katy will have five days back when her marriage was young. The sprite/fairy godmother is giving Katy this chance to see if she can figure out what went wrong in her marriage and if she'll fight for Garrett in the present.

The next thing you know, Katy looks down and everything that shifted south with time is now back where it belongs and she's in the bathroom of the apartment she lived in with Garrett! Taking a deep breath, she opens the door. There he is, the love of her life, on the bed. Instead of hitting the books like she always did back then, Katy decides to jump on Garrett and convinces him to make wild, passionate love. Needless to say, Garrett is somewhat confused by Katy's behavior, but definitely not complaining. Deciding not to waste a moment of her precious time with Garrett, she plans on spending all five days in the apartment with Garrett, most of it in bed.

Will Katy learn what her mistakes were in her marriage? Will she take this knowledge with her to the present and use it to fight for her man? Will she have a chance at getting Garrett back?

THE EX-FILES 3: KINKY KATY is a wondrously funny look at second chances and what effect a workaholic has on a relationship. Dakota Cassidy has done a wonderful job of showing us this in her own humorous way. During Katy's trip down memory lane, she begins to discover what caused the end of her marriage, and I really loved how "T" would pop into her head unexpectedly and give Katy unsolicited advice. If you're in the mood for a laugh along with some hot sex, don't miss this one!

Summary

Katy Jennings is calm, cool and collected. She's a dedicated counselor who works with obsessive compulsive patients, teaching techniques like the "thinking spot" and filling up your "self-esteem account." Her life is full and her friends and fellow divorcees give Katy a reason to get up in the morning. They are the Ex-Files -- Maddie, Maxie and Victoria.

They're all Katy has now that her ex-husband Garret is remarrying. Katy's well-ordered world begins to fall apart as she watches each of her friends find love and happiness. Her sedate take on life becomes more and more frustrating as her anger and regret over Garret's remarriage looms on the horizon.

But Katy is going to get one more chance to examine her life with her ex, Garrett, and it doesn't happen here in two-thousand-four. Nope, she's going back to nineteen- eighty-three via the help of a tough talking, wise cracking fairy godmother! When Katy is given the chance to go back to nineteen-eighty-three, she makes some discoveries, including the body she thought she'd never see again and a bed she didn't use nearly enough!

But this isn't about a walk down memory lane; this is about deciding if Katy wants to go back to the future fighting for her man, or if she should remain in the "thinking spot" she's so fond of where order is a way of life and fighting of any kind isn't allowed.
