"Highly erotic, original vamp series!"
Melinda "Mel" just got back to New York City and is
sitting in her favorite bar, Burgundy Peak, with her two
friends, Sue, the woman who turned her, and Sue's husband,
Paul. Now that she's a vampire, Mel constantly pushes
herself and takes all kinds of risks. Not only does she
battle others of kind, she also goes different places and
lives off the land. Her most recent trip was to South
America, where she lived for a few months in the jungles.
All of these activities are just Mel's way of dealing with
her yearnings. Even though she is a modern woman, capable
and strong, Mel yearns for an Alpha male. A male that
won't be afraid of making her cry, but won't really hurt
her. Unfortunately, most of the men she's managed to get
involved with are all jerks. This particular club is owned by one of the Ancient Ones.
Paul has met him in the past and knows him. The world may
change, but Zigor refuses. Not only does he protect
everyone working in the club, but he won't take human
blood. He will only take the blood of another vampire, and
everyone calls him Master. After Sue and Paul leave, Mel
can't make up her mind if she wants to spend the night
with Zigor or not. Finally, she decides to go for it.
However, there are conditions. She must freely give her
blood, she must stay until midnight of the following night
and she must agree to the conditions willingly and of her
own free will. What will Mel find? What is Zigor like? Will Mel trust
Zigor not to hurt her? And what of Zigor himself? What are
his secret fears? BLOOD AND SOUL 1: VAMPIRE MASTER is a highly erotic look
into the world of vampires. Kate Hill has done a wonderful
job of bringing her characters to life in this unusual
look into dominance and submission. On the one hand, we
have Mel, a thoroughly capable strong woman, secretly
yearning for a man to dominate her. On the other hand, we
have Zigor, a stronger man, one of the Ancients,
uncompromising and secretly yearning for a soulmate. The
expected occurs when these two finally get together and
the sparks are strong enough to light a room. If you enjoy
erotic vampires, don't miss this one! Oh yeah, make sure
you have plenty of cool water and a fan around when you
read it.
