"Exciting romantic suspense tale"

He knows he has worked too hard recently, but Detective Blake Hammond feels his upcoming Hawaiian vacation will regenerate his batteries. However, he is forced to give up his two weeks off to go undercover and assist DEA agent Ronnie Carmichael on a very important case.

Ronnie is at the end of her rope after chasing the underbelly of society, a never-ending nightmare with no relief in sight. Unable to mentally cope with the dregs she routinely deals with anymore, Ronnie has decided that this case is her grand finale as a law enforcement official as she plans to quit once this case is finished.

Both cops are experienced and know the rules of undercover work, especially the part of not socializing even if they are playing newlyweds on their honeymoon. Already in a romantic situation, Blake and Ronnie find it difficult to keep their hands off one another. Soon the line between a pretend marriage and the desire to make it real blurs, but their growing feelings interfere with the danger of their work.

The story line is fun because of the lead couple whose struggles to remain objective lose to the allure of one another.
