"Return of the Horsemen"
Susana, a healer, loves the flying Horsemen but is deathly
afraid of heights. She has feelings for the Horseman Moor,
but represses them, knowing that between Moor's father-
figure status, the beloved wife he lost and her fears, her
desires can come to nothing. Susana finds out the hard way
that some desires cannot be denied! Moor, Horseman and father-figure to Susana's best friend,
is disturbed by his attraction to the lovely young healer.
Older, more experienced and determined not to love and lose
again, Moor will go to any lengths to outrun the unwanted
feelings that persist in haunting him. Even so far as to
enter a grueling endurance race that has challenged
Horsemen far younger than he. Darkness will test their love, and their lives. Only by
holding fast will they survive... together. Readers who enjoyed Hill's first Horsemen adventure have
another wondrous story from that distinctive world in
CAPTIVE STALLION, a story featuring two of the secondary
characters first brought to life in the first of the
series. A considerable part of the story overlaps the first
novel, time-wise, so readers see different aspects of the
first novel and get mini 'refresher course' without needing
to re-read for comprehension. Like the first volume in the
series, the hero and heroine of this novel form a
relationship with only a modicum of difficulty, the story
centers on the trials that their newfound relationship are
put through. The characterization is excellent and the plot
involving and interesting. The sexual aspects of the story
are inventive and passionate. The 'forbidden love' aspect
to Susana and Moor's relationship (he is considered a
second father by Susana's best friend) is delicately
handled and well-resolved. Hill's skill with uncommon
characters and very human issues shines in this very
different romance. CAPTIVE STALLION is a sexy take on a
tale of forbidden love that no fantasy romantic erotica
reader should pass by. Sensuality Level: This novel has been rated "E-rotic" by
the publisher.

SummaryFor years Susana and Moor have buried their attraction to
one another.
Susana, a human healer, is much younger than the
shapeshifting Horseman who is also her best friend's foster
father. In their minds, anything more than friendship is
unacceptable—until they experience the legendary dream
sharing that binds a Horseman to his destined mate.
With Moor's help, Susana overcomes her fear of flying to
ride her lover in the most famous endurance race in the
world. Their happiness seems as fated as their love. Then
Moor's life is endangered, and Susana must risk everything
to save him.
