"Enjoyable quick romance with extremely likeable characters."

Attorneys Alex deLuca and Cassandra Harrell were opposing counsel in a divorce proceeding. Alex spots Cassandra's beautiful face on the back cover of an erotica novel on his paralegal's desk. When Cassandra denies that she is the author of the book, Alex doesn't believe her and makes some public remarks that enrage her. It turns out that Cassandra's sister authored the book, but she used Cassandra's picture for the headshot.

Cassandra decides that payback is justified and she sets out to embarrass Alex just as he had embarrassed her. Alex turns Cassandra's plans for revenge around and they spend a steamy night together. Cassandra is vying for a partnership with the firm she works for and is fearful of repercussions if her bosses find out about the book. Eventually Alex and Cassandra's sister give Cassandra the courage and inspiration to be herself. Will her newfound strength backfire and cause her to lose her job? What about Cassandra and Alex, will their relationship last?

This was a very enjoyable book by Ms. Ballou and the characters were extremely likeable. Cassandra's sister had the perfect personality to compliment the story, I feel she could have her own story. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a quick romance with plenty of steamy sex.
