If he had to crash his ship, at least it was on Obsidian. Obsidian, the planet of pleasure, away from the strictures of the Federation. If he had crashed anywhere else, he wouldn't have survived. The doctors on Obsidian called in a "specialist" to assist with Guy. The specialist just happens to be a cyborg maker. Guy is now part cyborg, with enhanced abilities. Once his superiors found out what happened to him, he was cashiered out. No more career with the Federation. Of course, no more living on Earth either. Guy has no idea what he wants to do with the rest of his life, but he does know he doesn't want to spend it here on Obsidian.

Cassie and her sisters were sent to Obsidian by their father. This is to be their final "sowing of wild oats" before they accept their responsibilities on Earth. As members of the ruling caste on Earth, it will be their job to breed. Their father will either accept and raise their children, or reject them. Cassie's half-sister will be neutered, due to an unacceptable gene she carries.

From the first moment Guy sees Cassie, he knows she's the woman for him. His soulmate, his other half. But how will he convince her of that? What of the future? Will Cassie leave her responsibilities on Earth and go with Guy? Where will they go?

LUNA 10 #1: CASSIOPEIA is quite a different look at the future. Ann Jacobs has done a wonderful job of giving the reader a look at her version of the future and laying the foundation for a series. LUNA 10 #1: CASSIOPEIA is a highly erotic look at dominance and submission. I highly recommend it to all lovers of futuristic stories.
