"Contemporary romantic suspense, a touching love story"
Portland Police Detective Bud Morrison is working
undercover at a club when he encounters beautiful Claire
Parker. Claire had gone out for the night with a friend to
celebrate her newfound independence from her father's
control. Bud stepped in when someone at the bar wouldn't
leave Claire alone; he ends up taking her home where they
act on their mutual attraction to each other. Claire was
totally innocent and Bud was used to experienced women who
shared his intense sexual desires. Claire and Bud decide to
spend the weekend together, with Claire giving Bud her
virginity and Bud giving Claire a reason to live. Claire and Bud's affair is met with many obstacles and
their love for each other is tested, but is their love
strong enough to prevail? I enjoyed this book very much and give it a high
recommendation. The characters were a great match for one
another and their relationship with each other and the
secondary characters were believable and realistic. Ms.
Rice has penned a very erotic, touching love story. Reviewed by Laurie Damron for Sensual Romance.
