"A highly erotic mixture of fantasy and reality!"
As a fairy, Noele has lived her life pretty much as she
wanted for her first twenty-five years. She grew up in the
forests of D'Naath along with her sisters. Now, Noele is on
her way to meet her betrothed, the Elven King of
Winterland. This isn't exactly what she wants, but as a
Fairy Princess, Noele knows her duty to her people and will
do it. The Wizards have always been a threat to her people
and this alliance will help ensure her people's safety. Her
parents couldn't accompany her on this trip, but at least
her sisters are with her. Noele hates the fact she has no
choice in the matter of her marriage. Worse, her betrothed
can marry her and then pass her on to his second in
command, if he so chooses. Garick has no time in his life for a wife. His life has
always been about the duty to his people. Instead of
teaching him about love, his parents taught him
responsibility. He plans on marrying the Fairy Princess
and then handing her over to Roarke. He and his men are
training ever harder due to the Wizard threat. Once he
sets eyes on Noele, he's not so sure about his decision.
Noele is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen and he
doesn't know if he'll be able to stand knowing Roarke is
sleeping with her every night. How will Noele cope with having the right of choice taken
from her? Will she remain with Garick, or will he hand her
over to Roarke? Will Garick ever be able to open his heart? WINTERLAND DESTINY is filled with all my favorite things:
fairies, elves and wizards. I really loved the Elven
customs and how Noele was forced to endure them. Jaci
Burton has written a wonderful story filled with magical
creatures and attraction. WINTERLAND DESTINY is filled
with fantasy and reality. In medieval times, women
really didn't have much of a choice as to their spouse and
would be forced to live under his thumb once married. This
was played upon in WINTERLAND DESTINY as well. I highly
recommend Jaci Burton's WINTERLAND DESTINY to all lovers
of erotic fantasy.

SummaryNoele, Faerie princess of D'Naath, has been destined to wed
Garick, the Elvin king of Winterland, from the moment of her
birth. They are to be married on the day of the Winter
Solstice. Their two kingdoms will be joined together to
strengthen their territory and keep it from the hands of the
evil wizards.
Happy with her carefree life in the woodglen forest with her
sisters, Noele is loath to have that freedom taken away.
Garick holds the power to keep her or cast her aside after
their marriage. For a faerie who has always done what she
pleased, being practically owned by the charismatic king
does not sit well with her.
But the beautiful faerie wields a power of her own, the
power to touch Garick's heart, to make him experience
sensations he's never felt before. Garick doesn't care for
the hold she has on him, but he can't deny his awakening
emotions for the beautiful princess.
Two hearts destined to be together must fight not only the
evil wizards, but their feelings for each other. Yet love is
tied to fate, and some ties cannot be broken.
