Acier Gautier and his twin brother Etienne Gautier are werewolf-vampire hybrids. Acier is also Alpha male of his den and destined to be leader of all the Dens. Instead of acting as the leader, he is searching for his absent vampire father. His brother Etienne loved his vampire side. He enjoyed his life of love-'em-and-leave-'em.

Acier can feel the approach of a full moon. He could feel the strong sexual and blood lust building within him. All he needs is a woman who can handle his needs. The last thing he needs is the daughter of the one man who had always been a father figure to him. Mo wants Acier to watch over his "baby daughter" for the next couple of months. Raven Williams was everything Acier wanted but knows that he shouldn't touch. So he leaves her in his RV and finally finds Deoctra Diniti, a full vampire with the urges to handle his needs. Once the lust has been abated he knows he has to come home and deal with Raven. Etienne and Raven are both convinced that Acier is Raven's soulmate. But can they convince Acier of that?

Will Acier finally realize that Raven is one for him, and what will Mo think of Raven and Acier? Will Acier assume leadership of the pack? What of Etienne?

I couldn't believe how good this book is. I had to email the author to make sure there were more installments coming my way. I couldn't get enough of the characters. This is a hot-blooded story that will satisfy all your needs. This is part of the Bloodlust series, and I can't wait for the next installment to see where Acier and Raven end up.

Summary

How do you fight your own nature?

Vampire/wolf-shifter Acier Gautier has a duel nature. Part vampire and part wolf-shifter, Acier, as Alpha Supreme-in- waiting of Pack Gautier must learn that even he can't always control what destiny has in store for him.

While running from the one woman he desires most but knows he cannot have, Acier encounters one of the only beings able to handle his strong sexual passions. The two have nothing in common.
