REVIEW

"Regency-Flavored Short Story Compilation"

They were six. Men who wandered battle-torn Europe and had finally come to London to rest and seek peace. Men who found themselves unraveled by fate and chance and being led, not unwillingly, into encounters that they had certainly not expected to find awaiting them.

While performing with his friends in the English countryside, Viktor Karoly, a landed Count, found his heart stolen by a lonely woman. Pyotr, in aiding Viktor when he was in need, finds himself coming face-to-face with a woman he left behind long ago -— a woman in dire need of rescue. Gyorgy meets a woman of consequence who wants nothing more than a night —- and finds he wants more. Matyas and Lukasz, brothers in soul, find their own damsel in distress, a woman of uncommon perception and a heart that can hold affection for both of them. Fabyan, the silent leader of the gypsy band, comes across an old lover who is the key to more than just his heart.

Diverse characters and inextricably linked plotlines characterize this compilation of short stories by veteran author Sahara Kelly. Though a single volume, THE GYPSY LOVERS is actually a collection of five short stories featuring a variety of encounters and enticements. Historical readers will be pleased by the Regency setting, and those looking for more explicit sexual encounters will find no qualms with any of the stories. One special treat is a story featuring two 'brothers' and the woman who comes to love them -— a threesome romance that works beautifully. Rather like an intricate composition, Kelly weaves threads and lives with care and grace. Her themes of rescue and protection are carefully and touchingly rendered. THE GYPSY LOVERS is a gem of a collection that simply should not be missed.

Sensuality Level: This book has been rated "E-rotic" by the publisher.

Summary

They were the toast of the Ton. Six wild and handsome "Gypsies" enthralling Regency London with their music. Finding solace from war-torn France in the quiet English countryside, Viktor Karoly and his friends seek nothing but a measure of contentment, a chance to rest and play their popular songs. Forged into a unit by their common need to protect the weak, all six gather one summer evening at a country house for a party--one that would split them up and send each on the adventure of a lifetime.

Secrets would be revealed, their pasts would come back to haunt them, and for each man a woman-—a special woman who could reach past their carefully-constructed facades and into the soul beneath. As fiery in bed as they are in their hearts, these Gypsy Lovers like nothing more than to burn up the sheets. However, none of them expected the resulting blaze to consume them or make them so much more than they were on that fateful summer night...
