"The King of Diamonds has finally found his Queen"

Professor Annie Travis paints as a hobby. Today is the anniversary of the disappearance of her cousins. Two years ago, she lost Alice then last year on the same date she lost Alice's twin sister Alexi. She missed them so much. Using her art she is able to retreat from the her pain. Her new painting developed into a gloomy castle that seems to draw her into its depths. It seems to promise something that Annie didn't understand. When a hand reaches out and pulls her into the canvas, Annie doesn't have time to try to do anything about it.

The last thing Karn, the King of Diamonds, wants is a mate. But the time had come to claim his Queen. Karn loved women and had never been content with one woman at a time. How could he settle for one woman even if she was beautiful in her own innocent yet seductive way? He would claim her but he would not give her his heart. It had been broken once and he was not going to make that mistake. He would teach her how to submit to his every desire, but he wouldn't love her. So why does everything she does make him feel like he can't get enough of her?

Annie had been an innocent when she arrived in Karn's kingdom. It didn't take her long to make up for all the time she missed. Sex with Karn was a neverending adventure; she was even turned on by the bondage. Can she win Karn's heart? Will she settle for less?

This is a great addition to the Wonderland series. Annie is the perfect character to help Karn discover love again. I loved watching the two of them slowly open up to each other like flowers to the sun. Annie is the ray of sunshine to his gloomy life. Ms. McCray writes with such a flare that I can't wait for the next addition.

Summary
