"A very sensual story about unexpected lovers"

Anna Briggs has been trying to hold it together ever since her husband died of cancer. When he died he left her with a lot of debt. Now she's trying to run the stables while occasionally renting out packhorses with all of the equipment.

Devin Rourke's best friend was murdered and he's determined to find answers. He thinks that Anna just may have some of the answers he's looking for. At first she is apprehensive of going out into a remote part of the forest alone with Devin but she finally agrees to take him. She needs the money so she decides to take the risk. Little does she know that Devin thinks that her husband was involved in his friend's murder. What neither one was expecting was their immediate attraction to each other. As they travel together their attraction grows stronger. Will they be able to deny their feelings? Will they learn to trust each other? Will Devin find out who murdered his friend and why?

This was an interesting story that focused mainly on the relationship between Anna and Devin. They basically spend the whole story alone together getting to know each other while hunting down answers about the mysterious murder of Devin's friend. This was a very sensual story.
