When she finally gets her revenge it backfires on her. After attempting to kill and then having to save Eli, Sarel is forced to go to school to learn how to use her powers the right way.

After graduating, Sarel finds herself under Elijah's care and training to be a hunter. Can she get over her guilt of almost killing Elijah? Can Elijah fight the attraction he has felt for Sarel since the attack years ago? Is Elijah's loneliness finally over?

This is the second installment in the Hunter Series. You get to revisit with Toni and Declan. The romance between Elijah and Sarel is slow to develop but when it does it get hot. Elijah wants Sarel to make her own choice if she wants to be his mate. When it does happen it nearly rocks the house off its foundation. If you are a paranormal lover this is one series that you won't want to miss. I wonder who will show up next in this great Hunter Series.
