Prey for Me by Claudia Rose

Jess Croft had almost crossed the line as a cop. Put on leave to get herself together, she didn't know what to do with herself when a letter arrived saying that she had inherited a house from her Aunt Rose. She had only seen her aunt a few times but this was the perfect time to check out the house and try to get her life back in order. So she puts her stuff in storage and jumps on her hog and drives to Stillwater. What she finds in the basement will change her life.

Prey had loved Rose for most of her life, but when she would rather die than be changed to a vampire, he gave up. He bricked himself into the basement and intended to waste away. But being the son of the original Dracula, there are others who want something from him before he dies. Can Jess save Prey as well as herself?

Ms. Rose and Ms. Hill have created an excellent book. Their stories have adventures, action and love, as well as hot, sensual love scenes. The two stories are very different but I couldn't tell you which I like better. I thoroughly enjoyed both. This is must-read if you love vampires.
