REVIEW

"Diverse Valentine's Day Anthology"

A science fiction romance featuring a male slave and a "generously sized" female. A dark fantasy story featuring a vampire prostitute. A twisted, heartwarming romance about true love and animal nature. A haunting story of eternal devotion and the price of immortality. A chilling tale of secret love and hidden truth. A quirky fantasy story where a man is outmaneuvered by the woman he himself is trying to attain. An intriguing story of endlessness and the nature of human curiosity. A story about a vacuum cleaner salesman whose promises may very well be too good to be true.

What do these wildly diverse stories have in common? They're all in this anthology, of course!

Ms. Westerly presents a wonderful anthology for the romance, or romantic fantasy lover with this collection. Heart-warming, soul-jarring and sometimes truly scary, the stories run the complete range. Science fiction stories meshed with fantasy with shadowed horror stories. All leave you frantically turning pages to see what happens next. Westerley's arrangement of the stories is well-tuned, too — the reader leaves the anthology on a high note, well- refreshed and entertained. The sexual content, like everything else, ranges from relatively sweet to explicit. Though there may be too many non-romantic endings for some, as non-HEAs encompass nearly half the volume, each story is pleasing and well worth the read. Fantasy and horror lovers will especially enjoy Westerly's tales, but if you like vampires, werewolves, or just stories with a Twist, this is what you've been looking for. Also to note: One of the stories in this anthology is set in the same universe as Westerly's WINDSINGER novel, though there are no 'visiting' characters.

Sensuality Level: This anthology has been rated "Scorcher" by the publisher. It contains some content which may be objectionable to some readers.
