"Hilarious riff on Cinderella, with sex toys an three ditzy fairy godmothers."
The FMP (Fuck Me Pumps) Society consists of Katia, Simone,
and Mia. They are three deceased supermodels turned fairy
godmothers whose current assignment is rearranging
cafeteria owner Cara Anthony's humdrum life. For the last
few years she's had a crush on gorgeous executive Alexander
Mackenzie, who seems completely unaware of her existence as
anything other than a pair of hands to pass him his
breakfast. That changes after the FMP Society makes her
over from head to toe and presents her with a pair of
magical red shoes, which become the perfect accessory for
whatever you're wearing and which are always comfortable
(Note to self: Write Dakota and ask where these can be
purchased; my husband keeps trying to get me into the 5-
inch patent leathers with the double ankle straps; really
comfy very high heels would be a TRUE miracle). The first
day Cara dons the shoes, she causes a near riot in her
cafeteria, causing Alex to rescue her from the unwanted
attentions of a sleazy customer - and ask her out for a
date in the process. Cara doesn't expect much and is willing to settle for one
night of bliss from the bootylicious Alex, but he has other
plans - because he's been secretly yearning for her but is
gun-shy after on too many close encounters with women who
were hotter for his money than his bod. Their affair takes off and includes several delicious
encounters, including one where Alex demonstrates the
effects of one of his sex toy company's products. The only
problem is that Cara refuses to take off her shoes - and is
certain that once the magic of the red shoes wears off,
Alex will no longer be interested in her. Can these two
overcome Cara's lack of confidence? Can a horny prince of
men who's saving the world one purple sex toy at a time
convince Cara that she's his dream girl? Truly funny romantic erotica is hard to write. Funny erotic
with a heart and a message that warms said heart is as rare
as hen's teeth. This book is both hilarious and sweet, with
a message most of us need to hear again every so often.
Cara is a wonderful mix of smart-mouthed feistiness and
utterly believable feminine insecurity with a take-no-
prisoners attitude once she's decided to have a fling with
the delicious Alex. Her sex-toy wielding lover is equally
unsure of his worth as a man rather than a mere wallet, and
can match her quip for quip. The scene with the Galactic
Invader is both funny and hot, and the sexual tension never
lets up, nor do the sexual encounters ever cool down. Even
the supporting cast are fun - Ruby, Cara's assistant,
rivals Flo from Alice in sassiness, and the three
godmothers are each wonderfully individual. Dakota Cassidy
has given us a comic gem with genuine sweetness and
wonderfully steamy sex. Buy this book. Note to Dakota: Will we see more of the FMP Society? One
can only hope... And I wanna know precisely what that Buzz
My Gear looks like and where I can buy one. P.S. I'm handing this one to my husband to read! He kept
asking me why I was cackling with glee next to him in bed. SENSUALITY RATING: Steamy, monogamous sex, including use
of sex toys.

SummaryCara Anthony is a plain Jane with the hots for the very
rich, very sexy, Alex Mackenzie. What does it take to get a
guy to notice you?
Maybe a little help from the F.M.P. Society, that's what!
Three supermodels, who died in a tragic runway accident and
collectively share a brain cell, are Cara's brand new fairy
godmothers.
Okay, so they're vain, vapid and shallow, but they have a
pair of magic shoes. Magic shoes that make you instantly
attractive to the opposite sex and change with whatever you
wear.
When Cara becomes their new assignment, they convince her
that Alex can be hers and give her the makeover of a
lifetime. Now Cara has those shoes on and she's living
large! But Cara has to take those shoes off and bare her
soul to Alex sometime...or risk losing everything.
