REVIEW

"Highly Entertaining Erotic Read"

Mara Manning really hasn't had a good day. When she went to meet her lover, she caught him with another woman. It's not like she was looking for a commitment or anything from him. She just wanted to get laid on a fairly regular basis. Now, she's lonely and horny. And just when she thinks things can't get much worse, it starts raining -- not a light sprinkle either, the rain is coming down in buckets. She sees a turn-off in the road up ahead and takes it. She hopes she finds something soon, she's almost out of gas. She eventually winds up at a rundown motel, "The Rapture Inn". She makes a mad dash inside and sees the man of her dreams!

He introduces himself as Erotica. The more he talks, the more Mara is positive he's not playing with a full deck. She's almost expecting to hear the music from THE TWILIGHT ZONE begin when he tells her he's going to stop the storm. She decides to take a nice hot bath. Erotica walks in on her with fresh towels and the two of them go at it like dogs in heat. The weird thing is, Mara could swear his body parts are changing. Now she really thinks something is up. When Erotica tells her he is an alien and she is his "Promise Mate" and he "values" her above all others, Mara is ready to believe him. Eventually they tire each other out and fall asleep.

Mara wakes up in a world totally alien to her. The sky is mauve, the leaves on the trees are blue and she's naked and all alone! She really starts to get upset when a great black cat starts approaching her.

Is Mara really on another planet? What will she do all alone and naked? Who can she trust? What about the cat? Why is she able to communicate with him?

ROAD TO RAPTURE is a very entertaining erotic read. This story has a little bit of everything, from a successful businesswoman to an alien who is capable of shifting. We even have a "love meant to be" and a battle over a woman. This story is presented in a tongue-in-cheek manner which is highly engaging and kept me turning the pages until I came to the highly satisfying ending. I highly recommend Marilyn Lee's ROAD TO RAPTURE to everyone!
