"Another adventure into the Tales of the Beau Monde"
Professor Owen Lloyd Jones and his wife Louisa were hosting
the Annual Montvale Summer Fete. When the Squire and his
loud wife came to greet them, Louisa had trouble keeping a
smile on her face. But when she was introduced to their
oldest daughter, Poppy, Louisa knew that there was a
treasure buried under that horrible dress and hair. It
didn't take long for Louisa to find out that Poppy was an
artist. Invited to stay for a few days so she could view
their art collections, Poppy's life starts to change. Damian Barbour had been caught by his cousin Nick in bed
with two women. It hadn't matter to him that they were the
mistresses of two of the most powerful men in Parliament.
So now he was being sent to stay with Louisa and Owen for a
while. Walking into the manor house, he sees a woman
staring at a framed print on the wall. He figured she was
maid so he reaches out and cupped her breasts. The next
thing he knows, he has been kneed right in the groin. As he
is moaning in pain Louisa walks in and tells him Poppy is a
guest and she would have to think of just the right
punishment for what he had done. The next thing he knows he
is going to have to pose nude for Miss Poppy. PLEASURING MISS POPPY is book four in Tales of the Beau
Monde. It is just as great as the first three. You get to
visit the characters from the previous books. Ms. Kelly
can take a short story and make it a fully satisfying book.
I love the encounters between Damian and Poppy. Don't pass
this quickie up.
