"More than she bargained for at the Halloween party"

Dylan O'Hara and his close friend Quentin are out hunting killer vampires. A rogue vampire, Nicky, was creating an army of young people to kill for him. As master vampires, it was their job to protect people from things like Nicky. Arriving back at Dylan's nightclub, they were just in time to watch Nicky hold court with his next victims. Then Dylan gets wisps of an odor -- fresh and sweet and infinitely carnal. He is instantly turned on. But he also senses danger around her, and it's probably coming from around Nicky.

Emmaline (Emma) Harris is dressed in a vampire costume for the Halloween party that her best friend, Monica, talked her into going to. Walking into the nightclub, she finds the whole club is filled with vampires. Monica takes her over to meet her new friend, Nicky. Emma is immediately turned off by the man, especially when he licks her neck. Just before she can succumb to his vampire charm she is claimed by handsome man. He tries to warn her about Monica but she is not listening, until she see what can happen with her own eyes.

Dylan finds that once he holds Emma in his arms he can't let her go. He can't take the chance of making her his mate, as he had already lost one mate to the changing. He didn't want to do that again. But can he save Emma from both Monica and Nicky? Can their relationship go any further?

MY IMMORTAL KNIGHT is vampire novel filled with humor and interesting characters. The love scenes alone will keep you turning the pages. Emma is not the perfect woman, she talks too much, thinks she too heavy, but that doesn't stop Dylan from falling hard for her. I love stories about full-sized women. I hope there is more installments coming with the secondary characters. Quentin needs a mate. So I hope Ms. Devlin is busy writing right now, as I eagerly await all of her books.
