REVIEW

"The second book in The Bachelorette Pact"

Mickey Coleman is in BIG trouble. She really tied one on at her best friend Jessica's bachelorette party and now she's paying for it in spades. It seems that John Monihan, the slime, videotaped them in a very compromising position and now he's blackmailing her. What's a girl to do?

Mickey decides to steal the tape but Beth talks her into hiring a mafia guy to do it. Beth knows just the guy as he comes into the Starbucks where she works everyday. Mickey isn't sure this is a good idea but decides to at least talk to the guy. She shows up at the Starbucks in a wig and spandex. Whew! Beth shows her where to sit and then they wait.

Not long this gorgeous hunk comes up to Mickey and has the audacity to tell her she's sitting at HIS table. Of all the nerve! She just knows that this is the guy Beth is talking about. He just looks so dangerous!

Dominic Corlucci definitely is not what he seems but Mickey intrigues him. She also gets his motor revving! Still Dom cannot afford any distractions right now. Still Mickey is persistent if anything so they finally come up with a deal; sort of a 'you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours'. Still each comes away wondering what he/she has gotten himself/herself into.

This is just the beginning of an intriguing and quite comical course of events that leads to each getting just what they wanted and then some. Can they both handle it though? That's the big question.

Kathleen O'Reilly's series is turning out to be one of those 'can't wait for the next book' deals! I thoroughly enjoyed Jessica's and Mickey's stories. Now I look forward to getting my greedy hands and eyes on Beth and Cassandra's stories though it is hard for me to imagine them being any better than the first two.
