"Not your usual romance story"

Two hundred years into the future and humans are suffering from mutations. The rulers of the planet have enacted tough rules for the population. Those without the mutations are breeders and are allowed to live their lives in luxury. Those with the mutations are sterilized and lobotomized. They will basically live the rest of their lives in servitude without any thoughts of their own. So far Aurora d'Alessandro has not been labeled as one of the mutants. She's had a nice job and some freedom but all of that was about to change. She just received notice that her tests have come back as mutant and she's to report for surgery in two weeks. With only two weeks left, Aurora starts to make plans for the last part of her life. She decides to take a trip to a bondage resort called the Gates of Hell. She plans to spend her last two weeks there then report back for her surgery.

When she arrives at the resort, who does she run into but her ex-boss Brad Gilbreath. She's secretly had fantasies about them but was unable to act upon them. Now she's not sure if her dreams have come true or if she's about to discover another nightmare.

Brad Gilbreath is a member of the ruling family but he's defied his family and is now hiding out. He escaped being castrated and being sent to the mines only to crash land on the planet with the Gates of Hell resort. He's taken prisoner by Mistress Mara and is forced into servitude. He has plans to escape but he now knows he can't leave without Aurora. Will they be able to escape their fates? Will they be able to be free and make a life together?

This was not your usual romance story. There is a strong bondage theme going through the whole story that some might find objectionable. Some of the sexual situations are very explicit and not the norm. I found the story to be well thought out and the characters were easy to like and I read this in one sitting.
