True Lies Mia Logan is a psychologist who specializes in hypnotizing criminals into confessing their crimes. When one of her criminals escapes she must team with Ric, a futuristic criminal tracker, to recapture him. Ric cannot be hypnotized but makes a bet with Mia that she is sure to lose. When Mia tries to hypnotize Ric into fulfilling her sexual desires he plays along--as a sacrificial lamb of course. But what happens when Mia finds out that Ric has been playing her all along?

All of the authors in this series are good writers. The stories are interesting and the characters are well developed. I also like the variety of story settings--past, present and future. The only drawback is that the stories were so short that the authors did not have sufficient time to develop their story lines. For example, in each story I felt the hero and heroine were simply thrown together for the sake of page length so there was not enough tension before they got together. Regardless, this book is still a good read.
