Queen Jacey cannot believe she's been captured by the Breeders. They intend to discredit her by forcing her to mate with a male and get impregnated. Such an action is forbidden and the penalty for doing so is death--Jacey's death. As Queen of her hub, Jacey is forbidden to have sexual contact with males. Queens may only have sexual intercourse with females. The prime male specimen that is thrust into the same hut with her brings out latent desires that Jacey has denied.

Astronaut Ben Hero cannot believe this planet is populated by male-bashing females. Here, males are forbidden to be educated and serve only as slaves to the women. He plans to return to their spaceship and escape with his two brothers back to Earth. Now, he just needs to find a way out. When Ben is jailed with a beautiful woman tied up seductively, he figures she's paid for an erotic tryst with him. Luckily for her, bondage is one of his kinks and he's glad to "service" this woman. When he learns that she's as much a prisoner as he is, he tries to atone for his actions, but she's as insatiable as he is.

Jacey intends to enjoy her time with Ben before she makes an escape. After learning that he is another "talking" man, she wonders what she's gotten into. She knows that Ben and the other man aren't from around here. They would have been put to death years ago, if so. Jacey decides to escape with Ben and help him return to his ship. Then Jacey will turn herself in and face her punishment.

Is there more to Jacey's capture than meets the eye? Was she set up to be taken by the Breeders and discredited? Who would do such a thing? Will Ben be able to let her walk away? Despite his sexual past, he's never felt the instant attraction and endless desire Jacey brings out in him. Will they manage to escape those who intend them harm?

A HERO ESCAPES is definitely not for everybody. Male slavery and abuses galore exist on this misnamed planet "Paradise". When females are the abusers, they can be just as vicious as males can be. I do look forward to reading the story of the last Hero brother, Buck. I believe that Ms. Springer and Ms. Agony have dropped hints at who the heroine may be, but there are two candidates to choose from. Read and see for yourself in this second futuristic story of the Hero series.

Summary
