REVIEW

"Vampire trapper + vampire = romance?"

Ivy first met Vance Rapier when he retrieved her umbrella from the thief who had stolen it. He had a magic aura. She next met him in the library where she worked as librarian. Prof. Nevil Shute was the one that broke the news to her that she was a vampire trapper. Now it appeared she had finally met a real vampire. Only this vampire seems to have trapped her in his web of attraction, because he believes her to be his soulmate. He claims he needs her--so does Nevil. What's a girl to do?

This is an interesting short story that vampire fans won't want to miss. Though the writing sometimes appears to be a bit disjointed, once you get used to it, it adds a rather peculiar charm to the first person narrative. The sex scenes are a bit clinical and seem to lack sensuality, but are nonetheless quite hot. Not a romance, the ending leaves you hanging and wondering what will happen next.
