"Three excellent science fiction/paranormal romance short stories."
"Earth-Born Lord" is part of the Kegin Series. Justin Hayes
is a rebred human but because of his Kegin roots he must
find a Kegin woman to mate with. While at the breeding
office he meets his future mate, a woman named Renna. They
marry and travel to his home where they can consummate
their relationship and hopefully conceive. "Playing Games" is part of the Night Warriors series.
Police officer Denise Roberts is trying to find out why
women are being abandoned at hospitals -- with no memory of
how they got there, anemic, and with puncture marks in
their necks. Little does she know that solving this crime
will bring her into contact with two less-than-human beings
who are playing a game of cat and mouse with her. Will she
give herself to one of them? "Stealing Innocence" is also from the Night Warrior series.
Haylie is out for a night on the town dressed in an
unusually provocative way. When she catches the attention
of Lorin, a sexy good-looker, she can't believe her
fortune. What she doesn't realize is that her good fortune
is really a vampire. I enjoyed this collection of three short stories. The plots
and characters are well developed and the stories are well
written. While I would recommend them for a good short
read, I would suggest reading previous related works in the
series in order to have a better understanding of the
worlds and characters. Rating: erotic. Reviewed by Angela Black for Sensual Romance.
