REVIEW

"Marriage is a give-and-take relationship."

While out riding, Avalon takes a spill from her horse and is knocked out cold. Waking up, she is confronted by a tall scraggly bearded man who thinks she is some commonplace strumpet. She doesn't have the speed needed to outrun this barbarian, and is quickly brought to ground. With none of her father's knights to guard her, she's in big trouble now.

Lord Brandeis "Brand" has resigned himself to marry the daughter of the neighboring lord. He has put it off for as long as possible but with his father's failing health he has little choice. Spying a beautiful blond dressed in men's garb he thinks to have one last fling before the nuptials. Little does he know that this is the woman he is to marry!

Poor Brand has more than he bargained for. He expected to bring home a wife and a mistress. To set them both up in the same house. Instead Avalon is a little more than he can handle. Oh he thinks he can handle her in and out of the bedroom, but who is handling whom?

Myln Hurn sets this story up fast and beautifully. MEDIEVAL MISCHIEF is a poignant story of two stubborn loving people. The old adage: "You can get more flies with honey than you can with vinegar", Brand learns quickly. Avalon is spoiled but not rottenly so, and in most things grows up quickly with marriage. MEDIEVAL MISCHIEF shows that marriage is a give and take relationship and that when both parties give, what comes out is truly wonderful. The only thing wrong with MEDIEVAL MISCHIEF is that it wasn't long enough. I wanted to see what happened next with Avalon and Brand. Kudos for Ms Hurn.

Sensuality: Oral sex.
