REVIEW

"Highly Erotic Story with a well written plot!"

The Immortal Warlock begins back in Ireland in 257 A.D. Our two lovers, Gwenyth Mac Killan, stepsister to The Mac Killan, and Cormac O'Keefe, The O'Keefe, are frolicking within sight of Rosemund Hall, Cormac's home. Just as they're getting to the really good part of their frolicking, they are very rudely interrupted by Torin, Gwenyth's stepbrother. He has a few of his men take Gwenyth back to his keep and the rest take Cormac.

Cormac knows Torin will try to kill him. He only hopes Torin doesn't realize he will have to cut out his heart and then take off his head in order to do it. Cormac is an immortal warlock. He can't be killed by normal methods. Torin has his men tie Cormac and place him on the edge of a cliff, taunts him a bit and then goes back to his keep to deal with Gwenyth. Torin puts Gwenyth in a kind of "iron maiden" and puts her in a window so she can see Cormac on the edge of the cliff. He demands the ring from her. She claims no knowledge of the "Eye of Knowledge" and Torin has Cormac pushed off the cliff and consigned to the watery depths. As he's falling, Gwenyth remembers a spell her mother taught her and consigns Cormac into the keeping of a Goddess. Torin has Gwenyth sent to an abbey as punishment. Torin gets killed in battle and Gwenyth swears to bring back her lover. Cormac's younger brother retrieves Gwenyth from the abbey and takes her back to the keep.

Every year on the anniversary of Cormac's being thrown in the water, Gwenyth goes to the cliff and casts the spell again. She is never successful in bring Cormac back. Will Gwenyth ever be able to bring Cormac back? And what about the threat of Torin? Is it really over now?

M.A. DuBarry has done an excellent job with THE IMMORTAL WARLOCK. This story deals with a couple of my favorite themes, witchcraft, immortals and my very favorite, anything Celtic. The scenes are all realistically portrayed, from the meadow in Ireland to Gwenyth's decadent bathtub. The characters are all bigger than life and stay true to form. This is a highly erotic story with a wonderfully written plot. This is one story you definitely don't want to miss.
