"A perfect for some relaxing reading"
After inheriting a small sum of money, the hero of this
story decides to head for the tropics. Being a bit on the
lazy side, he feels he can live off his inheritance for a
few years without having to work. He buys a sailboat and
heads out, but things don't go quite as he plans. He ends
up in Toenail bay without a boat, but not without money --
but that doesn't last long. This is when he meets Ron
Anejo, a man known "throughout the Caribbean islands for
his wonderful intentions and his loose grip on reality."
He ends up losing his job (yeah, he finally had to get
one), and his place of residence. He helps Ron fix up an
old boat for-- hopefully-- some cargo hauling or a charter
which is when his real adventures begin. Some of which
include sick passengers, smuggling, construction, and a
pseudo trip up the Oricono River. Told in the first person, THE LEGEND OF RON ANEJO is an
easy going story. It was not one of those stories that I
felt I couldn't put down, but it was just plain enjoyable
to read. I didn't feel pressure to finish it, but I
wanted to just to see what the hero (no name given) and
Ron would get up to next. This story is a pleasurable
visit to the Caribbean, where you will meet some
interesting characters, perfect for some relaxing, lazy
time reading.

SummaryThe love of Ron's life is his boat, although she seems
bent on killing him. He lives, works and plays in margins
of conventional society. With a traditional adventurer's
disregard for reality and ineptitude for commerce (either
legal or illegal), Ron plies the Caribbean in his
inimitable way, becoming a legend in his own time.
