WICKED PLEASURES is the first of a new erotic fantasy series that promises to thrill, chill and delight. Long- forgotten secrets, lovingly describing characters and creatures, and a detailed fantasy world make the book a fast and exciting read. Selena and Serosen's erotic journey is a perfect harmony to the pulse-pounding suspense of the traditional good versus evil theme that underscores this exciting tale of elven/human romance. Donovan's characterization is deft and rich, leaving the reader to slip into a world of fully realized, sympathetic characters with the greatest of ease. The sexual content of the book is varied, hot, and occurs quite frequently. As a note, the book's epilogue seems little more than a teaser for the next volume in the series. While a great tool to advertise the author's future volumes, it does have the unfortunate effect of marring the sweet, fulfilling ending that Ms. Donovan has penned. Overall an excellent story, WICKED PLEASURES is an great introduction to a fascinating new trilogy.

Summary
