"Sent to kill her, he falls in love with her instead"
Warrior Jo Sha Ta Rem has been sent from one thousand years
in the future to kill an important scientist in the
environmental movement. His sister has been kidnapped and
the terrorists who have her made this demand. Once Jo Sha is
back in time on Earth, he finds that he cannot kill this
innocent woman. So he concocts another plan to get around
the kidnappers and still save his sister. Biologist Helen Matthews has been an outcast her entire
life. Her family of athletes has never understood how they
ended up with a brainy youngest daughter. Helen has devoted
herself to her career, determined to become a lead
environmental researcher of her time. When Dr. Josh Trem
comes on board the Phoenix Project, she's instantly
attracted to him, but she won't allow herself the pleasure
of acting on the attraction. If only Josh would leave her
be! And what's with the strange dream she keeps having,
featuring Josh and herself in a passionate dance? Jo Sha has found his Rov Shoma, his true mate, who will rule
by his side once he ascends to the throne. Helen is his; she
just doesn't know it yet. After an attempt on Helen's life,
Jo Sha takes Helen to his planet in his time to hide out,
while he plans his strategy for saving both Helen and his
sister. Too bad he thinks he can keep Helen out of the loop. Will Jo Sha be able to save both his sister and his love?
What will Helen do when she discovers that Josh had intended
to kill her, at first? Will she be able to trust Josh after
that confession? Who wants Helen dead and why? Is an
insider involved in the attempts on Helen's life? Will Helen
accept Josh as her true mate and live with him in the
future? Although I was bothered by a time travel logic question, ALL
OUR TOMORROWS was an enjoyable read by a new author. It's
almost as much the story of Jo Sha's parents as it is Helen
and Jo Sha's story. There are a couple of big
misunderstandings which needlessly complicate things, but I
look forward to reading more from Ms. Robins in the future.
She definitely shows potential and this story begs for a
sequel to explain what happens to Jo Sha's sister. Sensuality: Rated Sensual/Spicy by the publisher. Explicit
sex; sexually explicit scenes: 5.
