Terra is part of an elite fighting group of Carriers. Terra is a Horseman; he is half human and half winged horse. Horsemen are always male. They have the ability to shapeshift from human to horsemsn when needed. He enjoys spending his time training new carriers. But for the last two years, Terra has been dreaming about a human in a remote village. He is going to finally be transferred so he can meet her. It is stated that when a horseman and a human share dreams they are soul mates. It happens rarely. Terra can't wait to see Inez for the first time out of his dreams.

Inez is a gatherer and knows that Terra is coming. She has been sharing his dreams for quite a while. She doesn't want to marry Terra. She likes her life just the way it is; she has independence and doesn't want anyone telling her what to do. As a gatherer she rides a horseman to the Spikelands to collect the rock blood that fights the plague. If she married Terra she would ride him to Spikelands.

Terra can sense Inez' resistance to their marriage. But he gets her to agree to let him stay with her for one night to convince her he is the one for her. After a night of mind-blowing sex, Inez finds herself agreeing to marry Terra. It doesn't take long for Terra to realize that Casper, the captain of the village chieftain's personal guard, hates horsemen. He hates Terra particularly as he had wanted Inez for himself. It didn't matter that Inez had not wanted him as her mate.

DREAM STALLION is a delightful story of a whole new world. I loved all the details and description. It really made the story come alive for me. I hope there are more stories coming with the secondary characters. This is a storyline I would love to revisit. The love scenes are hot and heavy and all the characters are strong willed and realistic. It doesn't take long for the reader to know that Terra and Inez are made for each other. It is all the things that they have to go through to find happiness that leave the reader begging for more.

Summary
