"Will she fall in love with her alien captor?"
Tor Severian and his friends are enjoying a wild, drunken
joyride in the uncharted depths of the galaxy. That is,
until one of his friends decides to drive through a meteor
shower on a dare and damages Tor's new rocket ship. They
land on the dirty planet that the natives call Earth for
repairs and to get more booze. After some run-ins with the
natives, Tor and his friends end up running for safety,
along with two Earth women. Assistant bank manager Samantha Declan thinks Fridays are
the worst days of the week. Everybody waits to the last
minute and then wants their paychecks cashed now. When a
very strange man comes into the bank, she knows he's gonna
be trouble. Sure enough, he tries to trade in gems for cash.
Sam believes he must be part of the gang of robbers involved
in a diamond heist a few days ago. She signals for police
backup, and all hell breaks loose. Before she knows it, Sam and a female cop, Colette Marshall,
are captives on a spaceship rocketing far from Earth.
Together Sam and Cole plot their escape. If only Tor didn't
keep tempting Sam to forget all about leaving... The sexual
tension between them simmers until it reaches the boiling
point. Will either Sam or Tor be able to walk away
afterward? Once the reader gets past the first third of the story,
INTERGALACTIC BAD BOYS turns into an interesting and
pleasant read. The first part is entirely too campy for my
tastes and it read like a bunch of drunken frat boys who
just happen to be alien. There are several references to
popular science fiction characters that should be well-known
to readers. Fans of futuristic romance will probably enjoy
this latest narrative from Ms. Fox. Sensuality: Rated carnal by the publisher. Explicit sex,
bondage, spanking; sexually explicit scenes: 7.
