"Futuristic Vampires"
Ilsa, daughter of the Royal House of the Shanart, has only
one hope to save her planet—she must be impregnanted by the
Crown Prince Loren el Ranuth. Only then can she assure that
her people are adequately protected. She kidnaps his ship
and takes him prisoner. Unbeknownst to her, however, she
has captured the wrong man. And Admiral Zane el Ranuth,
vampiric Lorai warrior, isn't a man that any woman can
control. Though short, BLOODLAW is a completely satisfying story.
The first in the Xanthra Chronicles, it paves the way for
some interesting adventures in a futuristic world populated
by princes and vampires. Because of its limited length,
most of the focus was on the developing relationship (and
their sexual encounters), meaning that the world-building
was sparse, but still satisfying. The characters are
intriguing and the story itself well-plotted and well-
written. This quickie is a must-buy for fans of vampire
erotic romance, and an excellent choice for those who enjoy
futuristic stories as well. Sensuality Level: rated E-erotic, by the publisher.
