"Which will she end up with--fantasy or reality? Or will she lose them both."
Tory is at a low point in her life. Her husband, Henry,
has left her and taken her all money and even her cat took
off. Now she has writers block. That is, until he speaks to
her--her cardboard hero. It's been a long time since she's
looked at him, but after dusting him off and having a bit
of a fantasy starring him, she sits down and writes
something good. Things get a little crazy though (as if
making love to a cardboard hero isn't crazy enough) when
the FBI turns up at her door asking questions about Henry. Evan hasn't dreamed about his time in Lebanon in years.
Tonight, though, he did. Tonight he also killed a man who
tried to kill him. And still it's Tory he wants. Tory whom
he's been in love with since he was fourteen. Tory whom he
never seems to be able to talk to in a sensible way. Tory
who needs to be kept safe--and he's going to make sure she
is. This was a great story that was just pure entertainment. I
read it in one sitting. I must admit I would have loved it
to be longer, with a lot more of Evan. I felt like I got
teasers about him, but was kind of left hanging. Still this
was a definite page turner. And, of course, I really
appreciated that it was an older woman/younger man story! Sensuality depicted: Oral sex; crude language; descriptive
sex; masturbation.

SummaryEwan MacKenzie. A dangerous man. In control of almost every
situation—except the woman who haunts his fantasies.
A desperate woman who has found her hero. He's perfect. The
embodiment of every fantasy Tory's ever written. There's
only one little problem. Tory writes sweet romances. Her
perfect lover's not anatomically correct! That's a problem
she should be able to solve. But how do you describe a
penis?
