"Help an Alien get home for Christmas."
Well, its not every day that Sarah Jacobson goes to the
mall Christmas shopping and is stopped dead by a sign
reading, "Help an Alien get home for Christmas." Sarah as
always felt like the odd man out, and being alone for
Christmas just reinforces that. She has a few friends but
they have their own families to spend the holidays with.
Sarah's not going to her brother's and his wife's and feel
like an inferior, so she decides to stay home. Sarah is no longer alone. Sarbal (Gabriel) cri Rabor has
decided to spend time with Sarah. True, he's not from
Earth
but why let a little thing like a few trillion miles come
between two mates. Gabriel is going to release Sarah's
powers that have laid dormant all her life. Sarah is
having some very nice dreams. Gabriel keeps sending her
very risqué images of what they could be doing together.
While this unnerves Sarah, it also titillates her. He then
makes a deal with Sarah that while he is here he will
abide
by Earth customs, if Sarah will follow the custom of his
people when she is on his planet. GABRIEL'S GIFT gives the reader an alternative to how we
came into being. It shows that we are not the only
intelligent life in the universe. GABRIEL'S GIFT also
leaves open how the Alien race came into consciousness.
The reader can take this story many different ways. As a
light-hearted purely science fiction fantasy, a spicy love
story, or delve into questions of how we came into
existence. Whichever way you take GABRIEL'S GIFT, it's a
nice story. If you are looking for moresexmoresexmoresex, this is not
the story for you. Ms Berry has spent more time around
Sarah's impressions and thoughts. About the only thing I
had objection to was the derogatory word used for a woman
near the very end of the story. In my estimation the
whole sentence could have been eliminated, and the word
was
uncalled for. Sensuality: Oral sex, Descriptive sex. Rating: PG.

SummaryEstranged from her only surviving relative, Sarah Jacobson
faces a lonely Christmas. But when she goes to the shopping
mall for some last-minute presents, her life takes an
incredible turn. A beggar with a tin cup stops her. He
carries a sign that says, Help an alien get home for
Christmas.
The man with the sign looks enough like Brad Pitt to be a
clone. And he's well-dressed and charming. Sarah can't
decide if he is some sort of rip-off artist trying to make
money off the Christmas spirit, or a kook. The last thing
she suspects is that he's really an alien who wants to
seduce her.
To get rid of him, she gives him a dollar and unknowingly
begins the mating ritual on his home planet where a man
cannot court the woman he loves until she gives him a gift.
This alien wants to court Sarah, and prove that the human
species is capable of reaching the heights of sexual
fulfillment. Soon Sarah finds herself experiencing bliss
with a lover that can touch her body and her mind. But will
she climb into his cocoon for the ultimate experience?
