"It's amazing what you can find in Paradise"

It has taken almost a year to save the money to spend her vacation at the hedonistic Paradise Resort so she can indulge her every fantasy. Serena Graham, a college professor, lives in a small town in Kansas; she has fantasies as just that -- fantasies. She can hardly wait to find a hunk to spend the week with, making all her dreams come true. No commitments, just sex. Is that too much to ask for?

Michael Donovan arrived at Paradise Resort to do research for his next erotic crime novel. He had arranged all this when his girlfriend planned to come with him. But now he was here by himself. He decides to make it a working vacation, but that soon changes when he finds out the hotel has double booked his room with a beautiful woman.

Serena and Michael decided to be roommates for the week. Michael is not looking for a commitment from any women but when Serena suggests they spent the week as partners he finds himself agreeing. Will he be able to keep his emotions out of the relationship? Can they both get what they want or will they fall in love?

PARADISE AWAKENING is a great read. Michael and Serena just come alive on the pages. They are sensual yet at the same time they are very caring people. The sensual scenes start out as just two people having sex but move to two people making love. This is Ms. Burton first novel; I was blown away at her ability to draw the reader into the novel. I look forward to reading more novels by this new author.

Summary

After a little negotiating, Michael and Serena become roommates, and Serena boldly asks Michael to be her lover for the week. How can he pass up the opportunity to mix a little pleasure with business? But despite their vow to keep their relationship strictly physical, they find much more than passion in paradise.
