Jennifer had been engaged to Victor when he was presumed dead in a plane crash. It had taken her years to get over her loss, trying to raise their daughter alone with some help from her sisters. Now Cecilia "CeeCee" Turner is watching her sister Jennifer marry John, Victor's best friend. When Victor returns from the dead on the day of the Jennifer's wedding to John, it is CeeCee who goes after him when he stumbles out of the house on his injured leg.

CeeCee had always wanted Victor, but she had managed to keep her feeling to herself. But seeing the look on his face as he left, she decided to leave with him to help him try to forget Jennifer.

Victor had worked so hard to come back to Jennifer. Just living with the pain from his debilitating injuries reminded him of all he had lost. As he leaves the wedding he is shocked when CeeCee jumps into his car. He tells her the only way she can stay is if they go up to his room at the hotel and have sex. To his surprise she agrees. After having a wonderful weekend, he things it all over with. That is until she asks him to father her child. Can he do this? Will CeeCee get the love she really wants?

SECOND TIME is very fast read that is so hot and steamy. You do not have to read the "No Time to Dream" (the first in the Time series) to understand what is going on, but it will give you insight into the background of the characters, especially Victor. This story just proves that love is better the second time around. Thanks, Ms. Harte for a delightful read. I will be looking for the next installment.

Summary
