Sarah Parker has been a widow for two years. Who would have through she would have been a widow at 30. She was tired of being alone, so she decides to try dating again. When she had gotten married they had both been virgins. Even seven years later it was not all that satisfying; she had been happy, just not sexual happy. So when she finally met Phillip Townsend in a grocery store, she could feel the sexual attraction. He made her feel things she thought died with her husband.

Phillip is looking for a submissive to have a relationship with. He had been involved with a lot of different women, but he still hopes to find the perfect submissive. He wants to find a lifetime commitment in a woman, someone who can let him be the Dom he is. There is something about Sarah that makes him think that she could be the one. So he takes her home.

Sarah is attracted to the premise of being a submissive but does she have what it takes to let someone else total control her sexually. Through the week Sarah is a businesswoman, but on the weekend she is trying to figure out if this is the life she wants.

SECRET SUBMISSION is the story of a strong, independent woman who has to learn to give total control over to a handsome hunk of man. Phillip is very likeable; he is very patient with Sarah as she learns to be his partner. Sarah is a great character; she struggles with giving up her independence. But that doesn't stop her learning to love again with Phillip. This is one of the best done BDSM that deals with romance, in my opinion. I will be looking for Ms Hunter's other novels. Highly recommend if you like BDSM.

Summary

When Phillip asks Sarah if she is a compliant sort of woman who will do anything he asks of her, she plays along, wanting a bedroom romp that will quiet the urges within her.

But Phillip has much more than a "bedroom romp" in mind. As he introduces Sarah to the world of bondage and submission, she discovers a need to be dominated. Phillip invites her to explore her sexuality each weekend at his cottage -- as his slave.

The question is: how willing is she to give up her hard- earned independence? Even to a man so meltingly handsome as Phillip Townsend...
