Alexi O'Brien has done everything possible to find her twin sister, Alice, but after a year she was no closer to finding her. The King of Spades, Darronn, has finally found his mate. She is not in any way like her sister. Alexi is a wildcat, and has never been submissive to anyone. She will definitely take time and energy to tame her to be his bride. The more he is around Alexi the more Darronn likes her spirit. Can he get her to submit to him without breaking her spirit? How will she feel when she finds out that he has kept her sister's existence a secret?

Alexi doesn't trust men in general. She became a sexual harassment lawyer as her way of getting revenge on men. She is not about to give in to Darronn and his brothers on issues that she thinks are important. Little by little Alexi learns to become sexually submissive, but that is the only area. She wants to be loved and respect for who she is, not some submissive slave.

KING OF SPADES is a wonderful follow-up to KING OF HEARTS. Darronn and Alexi are very different from Alice and Jarronn. Darronn and Alexi are strong characters that make the readers love them. Although Alexi is Alice's twin, they are as different as night and day. Alexi could never become a total submissive the way Alice has become. This is one series that you won't want to miss. I eagerly wait for the next installment. Ms. McCray will never let you down.

Summary
