Admiral Zane el Ranuth, Lorai warrior, can't believe it. He thought the woman came as a gift from his twin brother, Crown Prince Loren el Ranuth. Instead, she drugged him and now he's chained to the wall wearing nothing but a loincloth. As a Lorai warrior, he thought he was invincible. Guess not.

Ilsa actually did it. She even managed to rig the ship so it will only go where she wants it to. As the last surviving member of the Royal House of Shenart, she knows her duty to her people. Due to their greedy neighbors, the Shenart people are in trouble. Ilsa needs the alliance with the Xanthra Kingdom in order to secure her own small part of the galaxy. The plan was to kidnap the Crown Prince, force him to have sex with her, become impregnated and force a wedding ceremony on him. The kidnapping part is done, now for the sex part.

She finally manages the sex part. She decides to go for seconds and Zane seizes the opportunity and feeds off her. When she wakes up, she's handcuffed to the bed and Zane takes his revenge. She didn't realize the Prince was a Vampire as well. She knew his younger brother was a Vampire. So what do you think happens when they reach her homeworld and she discovers she's carrying the wrong man's child?

This short story has it all, from spaceships and Royal Houses, to interplanetary war and even Vampires. I really loved the glimpse into Dominique Adair's world and how she managed to make Vampires into highly respected warriors. This one definitely has humor in it as well, especially when Ilsa realizes her mistake. This highly erotic short story will leave you craving more.
