"Part three of this series, revealing all the secrets and lies."
This is part three in the Death Row series, which takes
place in the 23rd century. The United States no longer
exists and all of the Americas are known as The United
Americas of Earth. A deadly virus has infected most of
Earth's population, turning those infected into
subhumanoids. There are three races: male, female, and
subhumans. Women are bioengineered to look like centerfolds
and men dominate sexually like never before. Kerick Riley had been imprisoned in a penal colony for 15
years. When he and a fellow inmate manage to escape, he
encounters Dr. Nellie Kan, a scientist who has been working
on a serum to combat the deadly virus. After 15 years of
being without a woman, Kerick has plans for Dr. Kan that
don't involve her working on the serum. This installment opens with many of the secrets and lies
from the first two installments. Kerick still does not know
that Nellie is the daughter of his mortal enemy and does
not understand why Nellie tried to run away even though she
says she loves him. He is still unaware that his mother is
alive and willing to sacrifice everything--even him--to
discover the cure for the virus. As the story unfolds he
discovers the answers to these secrets as well as the
source of the virus. He also discovers that he will have to
make a big sacrifice in order to destroy the virus. This is a great story. Jaid Black is an excellent
storyteller who also uses her skill for fiction writing
well. Although I've read most of her books I had not read
any of this series. After reading this installment that
mistake was quickly remedied. I highly recommend this
series as an entertaining and sexy read. Rating: erotic. Sensuality: oral sex, voyeurism, multiple
partners. Reviewed by Angela Black for Sensual Romance.
