"What if the Hero's Welcome is only as a sex slave?"

Astronaut Joe Hero is on a mission to secretly study the new discovered planet of Paradise. When his two brothers don't return to the space ship, he heads out to look for them. When he finds a lake, he decides to take swim. Before he knows it he is shot in the neck and passes out. When he awakens he is tied to poles like some kind of wild game. Because of his neck wound he can't talk, but it doesn't take long for him to figure out the men here were slaves and weren't allowed to talk. They are used only for sex. When he wouldn't perform for the guards, the leader decides to castrate him to tame him.

Annie Wilkes is the doctor for the male slaves. She can't believe Joe's size. She would like him for herself, if only for the night. So she steps in and stops the castration and get Cath to release him to her until his neck wound heals. It is not long before Joe and Annie can't resist each other. There is just one problem. She has only one night with him. Even after going to the Queen, she couldn't get longer. If she turns him over in the morning to be trained as a sex slave, she will get the job she always wanted in the prison nursery. She knew that she will never be allowed to have a child; this is the next best thing. But can she give up Joe when the time comes? Will the queen interfere with their relationship? What is in store for Joe and Annie?

A HERO'S WELCOME will grab you from the first page. Joe and Annie will have you rooting for them from the beginning. Ms. Agony and Ms. Springer created a delightful futuristic story that you won't want to miss. The secondary characters deserve a book of their own. What about the brothers? I was left wanting to know more about them. I will be eagerly be waiting for the coming sequels.
