"An enjoyable fantasy"
Raven's life has been very sheltered; she has never even
seen a man even though her grandmother told her about them.
She's lived alone with her grandmother all of her life. It
turns out that both Raven and her grandmother are Aviat, a
rare race of people with special abilities. The outside
world looked on their race with suspicion and the Aviat
were hunted almost to extinction. One day their safe and
secure world is invaded. A man takes Raven and her
grandmother captive but he's nothing like the men that her
grandmother described. He's vile and treats them horribly. Raven's grandmother isn't able to withstand the abuse and
dies. Just when Raven starts to give up hope, Fate changes
everything for her. Her captor is killed and she's now
placed in the care of Captain Talyn. From the beginning
she feels a strong attraction to him. She feels like they
have a special bond but she's afraid of what will happen if
he finds out that she's Aviat. I found this to be an enjoyable fantasy. The plot flows
from one page to another. The hero was strong without being
overbearing. There is a scene with a menage (M/M/F). This
is a sexually explicit novel, a well written one.
