"The latest in the Breed series"

Aiden is a special Wolf Breed. His kind was created in a Genetics Council laboratory in an experiment to create the perfect warrior. The cruel scientists were trying to breed his kind but Aiden was defying them. They tried everything to get him to cooperate but he was able to overcome all of their tricks. He was immune to everything they did to him until Charity started working in the lab. From the first moment he saw her he found himself drawn to her. He tried to hide his attraction to her since he believed the scientists would use against him if they found out. One day Charity betrayed him and he's not been able to forgive her.

Unknown to Aiden, Charity was working to free the Wolf Breeds. She found all of the experiments performed on the breeds repulsive and was working with a secret society to free them. That day in the lab she did what she had to so that Aiden would live. She knew that they would be able to escape soon and she did everything that she could so that he would live to be free.

After six years, Aiden has never forgiven Charity for what he saw as her betrayal. He still doesn't know what she did for him and his people. Charity has escaped from the Genetics Council Lab and Aiden finally has her right where he wants her. What happened that day in the lab formed a bond between them that neither one of them can deny. Will Aiden be able to overcome his sense of betrayal and forgive Charity? Will he allow himself to have feelings for her? Will they be able to find a life together with the scientists from the Genetics Council after them?

This was the latest release in the Breeds series. More detail is given about the Council and the Breeds in this installment. There are some sex scenes that some readers might find objectionable. This is definitely a sensual novel. I found this latest book a quick read. Ms. Leigh has created an interesting world and the characters that inhabit it are easy to care about. I look forward to reading the next installment in the Breed series.
