"A Light-Hearted, Quirky Read"
Yar is a sex slave, born and trained to defer to women—in
everything. When his mistress is attacked by Earth
barbarians on her way to Vegas, he finds himself alone on a
ship that refuses to listen to him. His mistress Serena's
stubborn and completely unsympathetic sisters are of no
help either, when he finally manages to contact them.
Faced with a life stuck on the wrong side of the moon while
Serena is left at the mercy of barbarians with a completely
unknown agenda, Yar dares to break free of the chains that
have held him all his life—and he heads for Earth. Adrianne wouldn't have believed Yar an alien, except he
keeps calling her "mistress" and he carries the most
spectacular device she's ever seen—the Orgasmizer 9000, a
rod that can, with one touch, send a person into a full-
body orgasm. Dissatisfied with her job, Adrianne sees the
chance of a lifetime. With Yar's device she could make a
mint! They make a deal—Adrianne will help Yar find his mistress,
and in exchange, she gets the Orgasmizer. They set out on a
journey that will include both new friends and old—one that
will plunge Yar headlong into a world unlike any he's ever
seen. Adrianne finds his innocence and his dedication fresh
and, though she doesn't really want to admit it, somewhat
attractive. She knows he's got a mistress, but is Serena
going to like the new-and-improved Yar? What can she—or Yar—
do if she doesn't? YAR AND THE ORGASMIZER 9000 is a light-hearted read that's
just quirky enough to be fun and yet is still serious
enough to be intriguing. Yar's characterization is
magnificent—subservient when necessary, but still masculine
enough to take decisions that need to be taken. He's an
unfortunate victim of his culture—a facet of the story the
science fiction/fantasy enthusiast in me would have liked
explored further—who finds the perfect woman on a planet
he's not supposed to be anywhere near. The romance between
Yar and Adrianne is very light, though perfectly tuned to
the adventure that they immerse themselves in. The novella
is short but satisfying, and it has enough laugh-out-
loud moments to keep the reader rolling. Fans of light
and/or comedic romance should definitely check out this
story. And the Orgasmizer 9000? Well, that you'll just have to see
for yourself! Sensuality Level: This novella has been rated Carnal by the
publisher.

SummaryIt is forbidden to visit Earth, so when Yar's mistress is
shot down, he can not call for help. With no choice but to
wait and hope he hasn't been abandoned forever on the
Earth's moon, or to try to help, Yar decides to try to
help. The problem is, he has been bred to defer to women
and has no idea how to go about finding his mistress
without a woman's help.
One encounter with the Orgasmizer9000 is all it takes to
convince Adrianne that the device can make her wealthy
beyond her wildest dreams ... if she can only get her hands
on it. When she agrees to help Yar in exchange for the
device, it never occurs to her that she might find that the
owner is far more valuable to her.
