REVIEW

"Fairies, vampires and werewolves, oh my"

Before the time of humans the earth was a different place. Fairies, werewolves, and vampires all lived together. After the arrival of humans, the Fae left to find their own land. The others chose to continue living with humans but in secret. All that can soon change if the Fae don't find the wayward nephew of the Queen. The Fairy Queen Mah decides to trust the job to her always efficient Captain of the Guards, Lucifer "Luc" McAnu. He must find her nephew Seoc in New York City, and return him before the humans realize that fairyland exists. The last thing Luc wants to do is mingle with humans. But he must serve his Queen.

Reporter Corinne D'Allessandro is well aware of vampires and werewolves existing. After all, two of her best friends were married to them. So why was her editor making her investigate the reports of a strange Leprechaun. She figured it was just another false report until she finds a gorgeous man trying to break into her apartment. While he is trying to convince her to help him find Seoc, all Corinne can think about is having hot sex with this gorgeous man. After a night of steamy sex, Corinne realizes that Luc is not as mortal as she believed. By her seeing through his magic he realizes that she is his heartmate, a rare occurrence in Fae world. He is not about to let anything happen to her now. As people disappear after seeing Seoc their job gets harder. Can they stop Seoc before the secret about vampires and werewolves gets out to the other humans? Will Luc go back to fairyland without Corinne?

Ms Warren has done it again. I thought her last book in this series was the best but I was wrong. Fighting Faer is a great ride to the paranormal world. I wasn't able to put it down. I found myself rooting for the fairies, vampires and werewolves. I can't wait to read the next book in the Fantasy Series. If you want a fabulous read please don't pass this one up. Highly recommend.

Summary

After watching her two best friends marry a blood-sucking vampire and a furry-faced werewolf, Corinne vows there will be no inter-species dating in her future. While investigating wild reports of leprechaun sightings in Manhattan, she meets a man who makes keeping that vow a tricky proposition. After all, when she'd sworn not to get horizontal with anyone non-human, she hadn't known Faerie existed. She'd certainly never been seduced by a sexy supernatural hunk like Luc. And she had no idea when it came to matters of the heart, Luc didn't believe in fighting fair...
