REVIEW

"A vampire at a romance convention?"

Lucern "Luc" Argeneau writes under the pen name of Luke Amirault. He used to write historical textbooks, but his new books have been reclassified by his editor, as romance. His third book of his romance series deals with the meeting and romance of his brother. Luc just wants to be left alone, though the people around him won't let him. Luc as a writer can get away with being eccentric. He's outlived many people including his previous editor. He can't make his new editor, Kate C. Leever, go away.

Luc's mother Marguerite thinks he's turning into a recluse. She sets out to do some matchmaking between Kate and Luc. Marguerite is the matriarch of the Argeneau family. She has the welfare of her family at heart. She has also successfully matched her other son and daughter up with their spouses.

Kate is out to make a name for herself as Luc's new editor with her publishing house. She has set her sights on getting the elusive Luke Amirault on a book signing tour. Luc knuckles under to the pressures of his mother and Kate and agrees to an interview with RT. Little does he know that RT is the Romantic Times convention. Five days of interviews, fans, and what he dislikes most of all -- people.

Two-thirds of SINGLE WHITE VAMPIRE takes place at the Romantic Times Convention. The glimpses of what goes on give you a chuckle. Luc's call down to the hotel front desk for condoms is hysterical -- it alone makes the book worth buying. Lynsay Sands keeps getting better with each book she writes.

Sensuality: Oral sex, Descriptive sex.
