REVIEW

"Love and laughter go hand-in-hand in this modern-day romance."

Graphic artist Eleanor Preston is resigned to a tedious night out with the "girls" from work. A bit of a loner, Eleanor just wants to do her job and then go home. She doesn't want to face the dating arena where she never is what men want, until they learn about her father's money. No, Eleanor doesn't need a man in her life, thank you very much.

Bar co-owner Justin Collins has been leery of the dating game himself. When his last girlfriend dumped him, he channeled his excess energies into his bar and working out. Justin lets his co-owner Dave do the paperwork while Justin concentrates on the social aspects. But Dave is becoming more trouble than he's worth, cheating on his wife constantly. Justin is sick of covering for Dave. Then Justin spots Eleanor at the bar, with her gorgeous red hair and wonderfully curvy butt.

Eleanor and Justin hit it off right from the start. The sexual chemistry between them is electrifying. They both go through the normal dating foibles of what to wear and what to say. It's very humorous and gratifying to know that we all suffer from these fears. Justin and Eleanor may be sexually compatible, but what about the rest of the time? Is this just a fling, or something more? Justin's problems with the bar interrupt more than one interlude and cause him concern. With Dave's personal problems escalating, Justin may lose the business he's worked so hard to keep. Eleanor knows that she can bail him out -- but will Justin want her help?

PARTNERS IN PASSION 1: ELEANOR AND JUSTIN is a thoroughly enjoyable novel. Both Justin and Eleanor act like real people do, making some of the same mistakes that we all do. It's their passion for each other that makes the difference and brings this romance to life. The humor's not be missed either. You'll never look at E.T. the same way after reading this collaborative effort from Ms. Kelly and Mr. Carpenter.

Sensuality: Rated Borderline NC-17 by the publisher. Explicit sex; sexually explicit scenes: 7.

Summary

Eleanor Preston is in control. Of her life, her career, her world. There's no room for anything but the occasional polite date. Or so she thinks. Then Justin Collins sweeps her out onto the dance floor and into the wildest and most sensual adventure of her life. He releases her from her inhibitions, lets her hair down (literally). Lost in their red-hot affair, Eleanor makes an all-too-human mistake. If all they have is based solely on sex, then this relationship may be doomed. But could it be that something more has developed between them? Something that will get them back to where they belong—in each other's arms?

Co-written by Sahara Kelly and S.L. Carpenter, this book takes a unique and humorous look at two lovers, with Sahara writing as Eleanor, and S.L. Carpenter writing as Justin. After all, who is better equipped to reveal a woman's desires than another woman? And who can do justice to the heat of a man's passion any better than another man?

Sexual Content: Borderline NC-17. Genre: Contemporary.
