"A humorous look at the pitfalls of modern life and love"
Tess does one thing that all women know better than to do.
She picks up a handsome stranger who's stranded on the side
of the road. She's out looking for a little fun and games
and this specimen looks like just what the doctor ordered.
Is Tess brazen enough to proposition this man? What will he
say if she does? Brody finds himself mesmerized by the beautiful, alluring
woman who just picked him up in her sexy sports car. When
she boldly suggests a flaming short-term affair, his little
head does the decision making for him. As a result, Brody
has some hilarious internal conversations with his "little
buddy". Brody wants to know the reasons behind Tess'
actions, but he agrees to her terms. Learning the reasons
why can wait -- for now. There's more to Tess and Brody than meet the eye. Sure, the
sexual tension between them is thrilling, but what's going
on beneath the surface? Why does Tess feel the need to let
out her wild side, her inner slut? Will Brody accommodate
her desires? What will happen when reality intrudes on their
interlude? I enjoyed this "Quick Silver" although it is rather short.
There's a totally unexpected, yet enjoyable plot twist near
the end. Ms. Cassidy has written a fast-paced, erotic story.
SHUT UP AND DRIVE also explores the routines we allow
ourselves to fall into and the misconceptions we have about
the needs and desires of those we love. For a fast, humorous
look at modern love, give this novella a try. Sensuality: Explicit sex, semi-public sex; sexually explicit
scenes: 5.
