"Don't pass up this sexy futuristic short story!"

Sabin Grey has his undercover work cut out for him. Emily Shue looks like the girl next door, cute and blond. He can't make himself believe she's a traitor. It's his job to find out if she is. If this scientist wasn't the leak, could he find the person who was?

The year is 2193 AD and Earth has made many advances in technology. One of the most popular ones being sexual androids, or companion androids if you'd rather. Emily's grandmother has given her one as a birthday present. Emily is used to being alone. Eating when she needs to, and sleeping when its called for. She can't even remember to feed her pets on a schedule. She's thankful an android doesn't require food, because if he had to depend on her he'd starve. What is Emily going to do with him? The first thing that pops into her head is pushed right back out. She couldn't do that with him. When she finds him totally naked in bed she is once again amazed at how lifelike he is.

Emily's grandmother may have gotten Sabin for her to practice on until she finds the real thing. But how can you fall in love with an android? Think of having a man in any position that you request, as many times as you want. An android who also has domestic capabilities. Someone who can go to the store for groceries when needed, or do the vacuuming. In bed or out of it, Sabin could put the real thing in second place.

SEXDROID will have you holding your sides while you laugh. Ms Fox has a marvelous turn of phrase. Her characters are imaginative and magnetic. Warning should be placed on SEXDROID stating "Flammable -- cold showers should be taken if partner is not available." You will hate yourself if you pass this incredible story up. Would you say that at thirty- nine pages, this story was too short or action packed with sexual romps that make erotica a pleasure to read? You make up your own mind. The last thing I want to say is, where can I get one of those????

Summary

Emily Shue is a scientist, not a sexpot, but despite her higher learning, men remain an enigma to her--best left alone. Sabin Grey thought the Assistant Director was joking when he suggested Sabin go undercover as a companion android. It was simple really: go in, find evidence of the leak on the Galaxy Project, and get out. Only he never expected to enjoy his role so thoroughly....
